Entrepreneurial empowerment of IDPs through training in baking.
The Goshen Baking School has worked extensively with women in the zones of armed conflict in the NW and SW regions to train women on baking, pastry, and baking arts. Over 100 women were trained in this program, which has been a source of subsistence for their families.

Social reinsertion program for women in distress.
The emotional and psychological trauma of war warrants mental empowerment to assist vulnerable people to reinsert themselves in society. We took the initiative to do so.
In our self help program to reinsert women back into society, we trained women in how to deal with trauma, how to sustain themselves with their families, and how to be able to move on from tragedy.
Goshen Baking School. More than a school, A source of hope and empowerment
The Goshen Baking School was founded on the basis that empowered women is the basis for strong societies. The organisation, at the advent of war between rebel military groups and national armed forces in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, rose to support distressed internally displaced women by providing them with entrepreneurial skills. This was specifically baking skills
Over the last 8 years, the school has released myriad women entrepreneurs who can now feed their families and fend for their children.

Thriving on a transformation mission in spite of material challenges

In its vision, Goshen Baking School seeks to support the disadvantaged children in war-thorn zones by offering them material support. The children, on their part, are ever so grateful for the incentives given to them.
The Civil Society Supports Goshen Baking School efforts in South Africa
The impact of Goshen Baking School has attracted the support of some civil society organisations that facilitated the Baking School to train a few students in South Africa. It is hoped that with more support they will not only meet the need in Cameroon but also that of other countries.
