ABOUT
I am
Ekabe Quenter
Since 2015, I have been committed to use my company, Goshen Baking School, to give vocational training to underprivileged women in the zones of conflict of NW and SW regions.
With my background in anthropology and my current gender studies in the University of Buea, I aspire to study, understand and take action in issues of gender equity, women empowerment and the development of younger children
Avid reader, prolific author of environmental and anthropological books, women activist, wife and mother, I am relentless in my desire to daily better myself and acquire new knowledge.
My vision is to see unincapacitated women transformed into women of valor and having a great impact on their society.
I run
Goshen Baking School
Goshen Baking School trains Internally displaced women in zones of armed conflict in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, in bakery and self sustainance.
Since 2018, the association has trained and empowered over 100 women and sustained more than 70 youths in these regions.
Gosen Baking School is the channel I use to advocate for the reinforcement of the capacities of vulnerable women, promulgate the empowerment of youths, and contribute to the national economy through entrepreneurship.
As I further my studies, my plan is to grow this project to a national scheme for education and training in the domain of bakery, self-improvement, and social reinsertion.
